Hudson
Birkmose Park. Indians of uncertain origin stood atop a bluff rising above the east bank of the Lower St. Croix River. There they chose to honor their dead by placing them in mounds facing the exquisite expanse of water, land and sky to the west. The mounds are still there and this sights provides views of the St. Croix River and the bridge between Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Pattison State Park
Pattison State Park features the highest waterfalls in Wisconsin and the fourth highest east of the Rocky Mountains. Big Manitou Falls is 165 high, and Little Manitou Falls is 31 feet high. This state park is only 15 miles South of Superier and is worth a trip.
Big Manitou Falls
As you can tell it was a very foggy morning not making the pictures turn out the best.
Little Manitou Falls
Amnicon Falls State Park
This state park is 15 miles east of Superior, WI. It features 4 waterfalls (Upper Falls, Lower Falls, Now & Then Falls, and Snake Pit Falls) all within a short distance of walking across a small parking lot. The land that the river runs through is very pretty and distinctive. They are also worth the trip to go see them.
Now & Then Falls
These falls were hard to get a picure of the full two falls. These two pictures are of each of the little falls.
Snake Pit Falls
There was no sign indcating this fall but I'm assuming these pictures are of them.
Copper Falls State Park
One thing you can't forget to bring if you come to this state park is bug spray, or you'll get eaten up by mosquitos. Here there is to see the Copperfalls, the Brownfalls, and Tylers Fork Creek Casade by hiking the 1.7 mile trail round the park. You really can't get good pictures of the falls but they are amazing. It was raining the day we went. So we didn't take that many pictures because we didn't know if they were going to turn out.
Gurney
In this small town out in the middle of nowhere lies these two beatuiful waterfalls. The river source is the Potato River, thus their names are the Potato River Falls, and there is an Upper and a Lower Falls. A hike is required to see them down a trail and wooden staircases.
Lower Potato River Falls
To get a closer views of the falls, we had to walk across the river in our barefeets with water up to our knees in ice cold water. The river current was kinda strong and the rocks we had to walk across where slimmy and hard. But it was well worth the nice close up shots of the falls.
